History
With more than 200 years of combined experience in our industry, PHT Systems knows foodservice — and what you need to succeed. Our philosophy is customer focused and “whatever it takes.” And we’re grateful to our many customers — past, present and future — for our continued growth.
OUR TEAM
PRESIDENT
Chris purchased PHT in December 2018. As president, he sets the vision and mission of the company; works with the team to establish short- and long-term goals, and helps build a positive company culture. Before leading PHT, he was partner and CFO of the nation’s largest independent distributor of ophthalmic surgical products. Chris is married with two beautiful daughters and one adorable dog. He enjoys trying new restaurants, travel (especially in winter) and golf.
Sales Director
Tracy has been with PHT since 2000 and in the food industry for 38 years. She leads the sales team to help customers improve their foodservice operations with new equipment that will deliver better quality, consistency, and savings. She is passionate about taking care of her customers, sharing new ideas, and selling quality equipment — and yet she’s never considered herself a sales person. Married with two kids, Tracy enjoys travel, hiking with her family, and trying new restaurants.
Training Director
With PHT since 1989, Buffy’s prior experience includes quick service restaurants, dietary nursing homes, university food service and retail supermarkets. She leads the training department, providing hands-on customer training on equipment, and the development of breading and seasoning programs. Married with two kids, Buffy has a keen interest in cooking and loves trying new recipes. She loves movies and doesn’t know what she’d do without Netflix.,
Service Director
Dave started as a service technician at PHT in 1996 and was promoted to director in 1998. With 32 years of service experience, he is committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible. He believes in trying to help customers fix the problem themselves over the phone before dispatching a service technician, and is the specialist on all of PHT’s equipment lines. Married, Dave spends most of November in a deer stand. He’s also a DIY person and enjoys fixing and building things.
General Manager, California
Frank came to PHT in 2019 with a lifetime of experience in the foodservice industry having worked in family and corporate restaurants as well as hotel and stadium foodservice operations. His work as both an executive chef and an equipment purchasing manager gives him keen insight into the needs of operators. Married with two kids, Frank enjoys doing some renovations around the house and can’t wait to complete the kitchen so he can get back to hosting family and friends.
